You can read everything on Locksley without connecting anything — there is nothing to connect. We never take custody, and we never write anything about you to the blockchain. We carry advertising, which sets cookies, and you can say no to those.
Wallet connection
Locksley has no wallet connection and never requests signatures or transactions.
What we collect
Server logs, and whatever you choose to send us. There are no accounts, so there is nothing kept against you.
Server logs — IP address, browser and pages requested — are kept for 14 days, for security, abuse prevention and keeping the site up.
The contact form is processed by Formspree, which receives the name, email address and message you submit and delivers them to us. Formspree's own privacy policy applies to that processing.
We never write anything about you to the blockchain. Nothing you do on this site becomes a permanent public record because of us.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Some storage is needed to make the site work. The advertising kind is optional and you can refuse it.
We store a small amount of information in your browser to remember your preferences. That part is necessary for features you asked for. We also measure how the site is used, and we carry advertising, which involves third parties setting their own identifiers.
Analytics and advertising storage are optional, we ask before setting them, and refusing costs you nothing — every page works the same either way. We honour browser-level opt-out signals where your browser sends one.
Who we share with
Infrastructure providers who help run the site, and advertising partners if you allowed them. Nobody else, and we do not sell anything.

- A blockchain node provider — reading the chain means asking a node, and your requests reach it. You can point the site at your own node instead.
We do not sell personal information. We will disclose information if the law compels us, and we will tell you when we are allowed to.
Video pages embed YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; once you do, your browser connects to YouTube and its privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
Logs for 14 days, and nothing else kept about you.
Server logs are deleted after 14 days. There are no accounts and no per-address records, so there is nothing else held about you. When you ask us to delete a message you sent us, we do it within 30 days, including from backups on their next rotation.
Your rights, and how to use them
Ask through the contact page and it is done.
You can see everything we hold about you, export it, or delete it, and you do not need to prove your identity with a document to do it.
We answer within thirty days, and usually far faster. The contact page reaches a person.
What we cannot delete
We can delete our records. Nobody can delete the blockchain.
We can delete anything you have sent us. We cannot delete anything from the blockchain itself, and neither can anyone else. The on-chain data you see on this site is public data that we read; it is not ours to erase, and it will still be there after we have forgotten you.
This is worth understanding wherever you paste an address: a wallet address is a permanent, public, searchable identifier. That is a property of the technology, not of this site.
Where you are
Additional rights apply in Europe, the UK and several US states. They are listed here rather than assumed.
Locksley operates from El Salvador, and this policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador.
We treat a wallet address as personal information when we can connect it to a person, and we assume we can. We do not think that is a close call, and we would rather over-protect it than argue about it.
Changes to this policy
Dated versions, old ones kept online, and we tell you what changed.
Every version carries an effective date and superseded versions stay online. If a change means we would use your information in a way you would not expect from the current version, we will tell you before it takes effect rather than after.
