Locksley is a free website that publishes news, on-chain data and guides about Robinhood Chain. It never holds your money, never moves your tokens, and never tells you what to buy. It is built by TrustSwap, which also owns Team Finance — the tool this site links to. Everything below expands on those four sentences.
What Locksley is
A website that reads a public blockchain and explains what it finds. Free, no account required.
Locksley publishes news headlines, data computed from Robinhood Chain, and educational guides. You can use all of it without connecting anything or telling us who you are — there is no account, and nothing is gated.
We are an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc., Robinhood Chain, or any of their subsidiaries. We use those names only to identify the network this site covers.
What Locksley is not
Not a broker, not an exchange, not a custodian, not an adviser. We publish information. What you do with it is yours.
We never take custody. At no point does Locksley hold, control or have access to your tokens, your funds, your private keys or your recovery phrase. There is nothing we could take, freeze or lose.
Nothing here is advice. We do not know your circumstances, your goals or your position, and we are not trying to get you to buy anything. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold. When we show you information about your own wallet we are describing what is there — we are not telling you what to do about it, and you will not find a page on this site that does.
We owe you no fiduciary duty. These terms do not create one, and using the site does not create one.
We do not execute anything. We do not operate a pool, run an order book, match trades, or set prices. We cannot and do not guarantee best pricing or best execution on anything you do after leaving this site.
Buying, bridging and the handoff
The Buy button is a link. It sends you to deBridge, and everything after that is between you and them.
Locksley shows a price and, next to it, a link. Selecting it takes you to deBridge, a third party, on their own site and under their own terms. We do not build your transaction, choose your route, set your slippage, or pass anything on your behalf. The buy and bridge pages embed deBridge's own application; deBridge builds and routes those transactions, and an affiliate fee paid to Locksley is included in the quote deBridge shows you before you confirm. You leave this site, and the trade is constructed and executed there by them, with you approving it in your own wallet.
This is deliberate, and it is worth being plain about why: a site that constructs and forwards orders is doing something different from a site that publishes a link, and we have built the second one. We take no fee, no spread and no cut of anything you trade.
We are not responsible for third-party services. If deBridge is down, mis-routes, prices badly or fails, that is a matter between you and deBridge. We chose to link to them; we do not stand behind them.
Wallet connection
Locksley has no wallet connection. Nothing on this site can request a signature, a transaction, or access to your wallet.
The data, and its accuracy
We try hard to be right, we tell you how we compute everything, and we do not guarantee it.
Everything we publish is computed from a public blockchain by software we wrote. Software has bugs, nodes fall behind, and external rates are someone else's. Figures may be stale, incomplete or wrong. Every figure carries the block height it was read at so you can check it, and the methodology page sets out exactly what each number means, what it excludes and what we did not check.
The site and everything on it is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. We correct errors when we find them and log every correction publicly. We do not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of a figure on this site — which is why we have tried to build a site where you never have to take a figure on trust.
Two anchors that other pages link here: how escrow is verified and how the news wire is built both live on the methodology page, in full.
Who owns Locksley, and what we are paid for
TrustSwap builds Locksley and also owns Team Finance. When we link to Team Finance, we profit. We say so every time.
Locksley is built by TrustSwap, which also owns Team Finance — the token-tooling product this site links to, and the source of the escrow data we will read when lock tracking ships. When we link to Team Finance we are linking to a product our own company makes and profits from. This appears in the footer of every page, and again in the body of any page that mentions or links the product.
Locksley also carries advertising, and every advertisement is labelled as one. We sell one sponsor slot per day. Advertisers do not see our editorial in advance, cannot influence it, and cannot buy their way into how a token is displayed.
The Crypto App and the TrustSwap Launchpad are also TrustSwap products, and the same rule applies to both: named as ours, wherever they appear.
What we charge for
We charge for doing things, never for reporting them. Being visible on Locksley is free and always will be.
This is a standing commitment and it is the reason to trust the rest of the site, so it belongs in the terms rather than in marketing copy:
- When lock tracking ships, every locker will be indexed, whether or not the project pays us anything. At launch we will index Team Finance only, and when we index other lockers, the same rule will apply to them.
- When lock tracking ships, escrow state will be displayed identically for every token. There will be no paid placement in it, no enhanced display, and no way to buy a better-looking lock panel.
- Ranking is never for sale. Not in the news brief, not in the token lists, not in search results on this site.
- Team Finance charges for creating a lock, a vesting schedule or a staking pool — for the doing. Locksley charges nothing for reporting that it exists.
Using the site
Read it, quote it, build on the API. Don't attack it, and don't impersonate us.
You may read, quote and link to anything here. You may use the public API within its published rate limits. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it in ways that degrade it for others, impersonate Locksley, or present our data as though it were your own measurement.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If using this site is unlawful where you are, do not use it.
Content and reuse
Our writing and our methodology are CC BY 4.0. Cite us. Headlines belong to the outlets that wrote them.
Locksley's guides, glossary and methodology are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 — reuse them, including commercially, with attribution. Our name, logo and visual design are not covered by that licence.
News headlines and excerpts belong to the publishers who wrote them; we link to their pages and do not republish their work. Data computed from a public blockchain is not ours to license — the chain is public, and our contribution is the method, which is published.
Changes to these terms
We date every version, keep the old ones online, and tell you what changed.
We update these terms from time to time. Every version carries an effective date, superseded versions stay online permanently, and substantive changes are summarised in a changelog rather than buried in a silent edit. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.
Liability
We are a free information site. We are not liable for what happens in markets, in your wallet, or on someone else's website.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Locksley and TrustSwap are not liable for losses arising from your use of this site — including losses from trading, from reliance on a figure, from a third-party service we linked to, or from the site being unavailable or wrong. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Disputes and governing law
Tell us first — most things are a misunderstanding or a bug, and we would rather fix it.
If you have a problem, write to us through the contact page before anything else. If it is a figure you believe is wrong, the corrections process is faster and more useful than a legal letter.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Locksley, are governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts of San Salvador, El Salvador.
