Liquidity locks on Robinhood Chain

A liquidity lock on Robinhood Chain proves one thing: the pool cannot be withdrawn before its release date. What that covers, what it never does, how to check.

Paste an address and you get that token's page rather than an article — about a third of what people type here is a question about one token, which is a lookup and not a question at all.

Liquidity locks on Robinhood Chain hold a pool position in a contract until a set release date, and that state is on-chain for anyone to verify. As of pending, pending of new Robinhood Chain launches locked liquidity at creation, per Locksley's contract reads. What a lock does not do matters just as much.

What is a liquidity lock?

A liquidity lock is a contract that holds a token's pool position until a set release timestamp, so it cannot be withdrawn before then. On Robinhood Chain that position is usually a Uniswap v3 NFT, and the lock's amount, share of the pool and release date are all on-chain state. What is a liquidity lock? carries the full definition.

What does a lock actually guarantee?

A lock guarantees exactly one thing: the pool cannot be withdrawn before the release date. Not the price, not the team, not the token. A locked pool can still fall. That is the whole guarantee, and it is worth having — it is simply not the same thing as protection. Locks vs LP burns compares the two ways of proving it.

What does "no lock found" mean?

"No lock found" means we found none — not that none exists. Locksley does not yet index every locker. It reads Team Finance locks directly, because those run on TrustSwap's own contracts, and coverage widens as more lockers are indexed. Read the label as the state of our index, not a verdict on the token. Locked at birth lists pools locked at creation.

Can a locked token still fall?

Yes. A lock fixes what can happen to the pool position, not what happens to the price. Holders can sell into the pool, a team can behave badly in ways a lock never touches, and demand can vanish on its own — all while liquidity stays locked to the day. Locked vs unlocked token performance sets out what the data does and does not show.

What is an unlock and why does it matter?

An unlock is the moment a lock's release timestamp passes and the position can be withdrawn again. It is a change in what becomes possible rather than an event in itself: the owner may withdraw, extend, or do nothing at all. Knowing the date in advance is the point. What happens when a lock expires covers the mechanics.

How do I check a lock myself?

Open the token's page and read the Liquidity panel: which position is locked, what share of the pool it covers, who holds the withdrawal right, and the exact release timestamp. Then confirm the same values on the explorer. It takes under a minute once you know the four fields. Read a liquidity lock in 60 seconds walks each one.

What is a rug pull?

A rug pull is the removal of the value behind a token by the people who control it — usually by withdrawing pool liquidity, minting new supply, or blocking sells. Locks address the first of those three and nothing else, which is exactly why the other checks still matter. Rug pulls explained honestly covers the anatomy of each.

What is a honeypot?

A honeypot is a token you can buy but cannot sell, because the contract or its transfer rules block the exit for ordinary holders. It looks like a normal chart until you try to leave, which is why a small test sell tells you more than the chart does. Honeypots: how they work explains the mechanism and the tells.

Does Locksley rate tokens safe?

No. Locksley never labels a token safe, and no list, sort or badge on the site means a token has been checked or approved. We report mechanisms — lock state, pool depth, supply distribution, deployer history — and leave the conclusion to you. The 7-point token check turns those mechanisms into a routine you run yourself.

How do I lock liquidity for my own token?

Through Team Finance, which locks the Uniswap v3 position itself rather than an LP token balance. It is our sister product, so take the disclosure with the price: a liquidity lock costs $150 per use as of August 2026, plus gas in ETH. The lock then renders on the token's page. Lock liquidity on Robinhood Chain walks through it.

“No lock found” means we found none, not that none exists: we do not index other lockers yet, and it is never a claim about the project.

Questions we will not answer, and why

Is this token a good buy?
We do not know, and neither does anyone answering it. Every fact on this site is published so you can decide that yourself, which stops being true the moment we decide it for you.
Will this token go up?
Nobody can answer this. A site that gestures at an answer while technically refusing one is doing something worse than answering it.
Is this project legitimate?
We publish what is true about a project's contracts and pools. "Legitimate" is a judgement about people, and we have no method for it — so we do not have an opinion to give you, favourable or otherwise.
Which token should I look at next?
Our lists sort by the field named at the top of the column and nothing else. There is no editorial pick, and no position in any list is for sale.

These refusals are the product, not a limitation of it. The rest of this category answers all four by implication — through a score, a badge, a colour, or a ranked list of what to look at next. Each of those is a judgement wearing the costume of a measurement, and the moment a site can be paid to shade one, everything else it publishes is worth less. Where these answers come from. Escrow, vesting and lock state are read directly from Team Finance's contracts; prices, pools, holders and position composition are computed by Locksley's own indexer over Robinhood Chain. Every answer that rests on a definition links to the methodology page, where the definition is stated once with its denominator, its exclusions and what it can be gamed by. Answers are dated and corrections are permanent — if one of these is wrong, telling us puts it in the log.
